Steven Beutler is an illustrator & graphic designer. His client list boasts names such as Hallmark, Sprint, The Kansas City Star and Little Yellow Bicycle. He’s also created artwork for high-profile clients like Joe Cocker, The Telluride Jazz Festival, and Paul McCartney. When he's not busy being a perfectionist, you can find him skiing the slopes of Telluride.
Garry Palm had been a full time artist in Hawaii 35 years. With his unique style of watercolor, he has been sought after by Hawaii residents and visitors alike. From Hawaiian pin-up girls, classic cars, military or floral images, Garry's work is extremely broad and diverse. He approaches each of his watercolor creations with a complete attention to detail, always bringing the subject to life on paper.
Kerne Erickson graduated from the Los Angeles Art Center College of Design. After graduating from Art Center, he spent years as a freelance graphic artist, all the while compiling a valuable collection of information from the innumerable and varying demands made by his clientele which brought forth his style. His style is evidence of hand brush and paint which does not in any way distract from the impact of a completed work. Since 2002, Mr. Erickson has done work for Travel and Aloha Images offered by Greg Young Publications.
Born in Hawaiʻi in 1962, Patrick Ching has spent a lifetime teaching people about nature through his art. He grew up exploring the valleys and shorelines of Hawaiʻi and at age sixteen decided to be a nature artist after seeing Hawaiian hawks in Pololū Valley for the first time. He then became a professional artist painting everything from coconuts to large murals. Patrick now travels internationally doing art projects, painting workshops, and live painting shows at resorts and events to raise money and awareness for various wildlife organizations.
Jim earned his BFA in art at UNC and MFA in lithography at USC (SC) where he taught art for two years. He worked as an illustrator and editorial cartoonist for the Fort Myers (FL) News-Press. His work has appeared in the NY Times, U.S. News, London Times and other publications. In the 80s Jim created a range of gift products and tees with his art depicting the lyrics of songwriter Jimmy Buffet.
Wade Koniakowsky, one of the nation’s leading ocean-inspired artists, began painting at the age of six and started surfing before he was 12. By blending these two passions, he has gained worldwide recognition for his oil paintings of tropical interpretations. Wade’s work is currently showcased internationally as well as in 17 galleries extending from the East Coast to Hawaii. The artist’s work has been featured in numerous publications including Graphis, Art Direction, Communication Arts, and Print.
